In June 2019 the joint conference of Bilfinger Tebodin and Beiten Burkhardt was held in Moscow, Russia, with the support of Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It gathered over 80 participants and attracted significant interest from representatives of the construction business.
Both German companies provide consultancy services and celebrate 25 years anniversary in Russia this year. Bilfinger Tebodin, an investment and technical consultant, and Beiten Burkhardt, a legal consultant, raised the topic of managing the investment project from various perspectives. Experts in planning, design, construction, consulting and jurisprudence discussed topical issues that arise most frequently during the implementation of construction projects, including:
- issues related to the development prospects of BIM technologies on the market,
- different forms of construction contracts and their specifics,
- approach to a procurement strategy for the implementation of EPCM/EPC/PMC projects.
One of the goals of the event was to discuss industry issues that are of equal concern both for the representatives of the construction and consulting sector, and also their potential clients.
Eduard Khakimov, Business Development Director at Bilfinger Tebodin in Russia and CIS, comments: "The conference we have organized with Beiten Burkhardt is in line with the existing market need. Based on case studies, we advise on how to manage projects in most effective way and how to effectively integrate BIM technology and use all of its benefits. We see the importance to invest to market development and support solutions, which really work. That is why cooperation with Beiten Burkhart in this respect is beneficial. The investment topic is comprehensive, therefore it is essential to take all aspects into account – not only technical, but also legal, compliance, management, investing into the development and training of the staff".
